Once upon a time...

a yankee came to Australia to establish his own cattle station.
He asked a native farmer:
"How big is your biggest paddock?"
The australian farmer answered:
"Well, about 200,000 acres."
The american replied:
"Ah, we got them twice the size in the states. What's the weight of your biggest bull?"
The aussie said:
"My biggest bull weights about 2000 pounds."
The yankee replied:
"My biggest one in Texas weights twice as much."

They were driving on a gravel road to the farmers place when suddenly a kangaroo appeared. It approached from the back of the car and was hopping directly beside it for quite a long distance. When they reached the fence the kangaroo jumped straight over it and disappeared in the distance.

The american guy was so amazed that he jumped up and yelled:
"Jesus Christ, what in God's name was that?"

The aussie farmer replied without any amazement of what just happened:
"Oh that, that's a grasshopper."
